everything  but I was really good about limiting myself.

Theater of Dreams

Today was Wendy Addison's holiday sale at her shop, Theater of Dreams,  in Port

Costa, CA.  I have been going to this event with my friend Debbie Addie ever

since Wendy moved to Port Costa and started this tradition.  Wendy opens her 

shop for the 3 days after Thanksgiving and again on 2  weekends in December. 

This is where she sells her original "Theater of Dreams" creations, as well as, those

she has created for Tinsel Trading.  The shop is quite small and is crowded from 

the time the doors open but the feeling is like nothing you have ever experienced.
You want to have the whole shop to yourself to soak up everything you see.

I tried to take as many pictures as I could without just snapping the backs of 

heads.  I am still trying to figure out how to take better pictures but these will give

you an idea of how wonderfully magical Wendy's creations are.

Hand made Xmas Ornaments from long ago

I found this picture in my I Photo library and it happens to be of someone's 

hand made ornaments.  They are glittered eggs with original pop-beads

(for those of us old enough to remember).  They are so cute and

are for sale at the shop.

Cherubini Coffee House

Here's  the link to an article I just came upon in the Danville Patch, an
on-line newpaper for our local area, about the Cherubini Coffee House. danville.patch.com/listings/cherubini-coffee-house. Cherubini's
Italian roast coffee is the best!!  They also have wonderful breakfasts,
soups, salads, sandwiches and home-made pastries and deserts.
(We are located upstairs behind Cherubini)

Fall colors are here!

     

 Who says California doesn't have seasons?  Being born and

   raised right here, well, Menlo Park, to be exact, I have always felt

    we have seasons.  Maybe not as colorful as the New England

     fall colors but they sure are beautiful to me.

Halloween is over...on to Thanksgiving

Isn't this weather crazy and wonderful? I had to show you what should be the final
pick of  this season's  roses from my backyard.  No wonder I can't get in the Xmas
spirit.  Roses in November?  That's crazy, for my roses anyway.
