 Friendship Farm Antiques this holiday season.

Chalk Markers

Just got my order of Chalk Pens that are so fantastic!  You will love them if you write on any
blackboard, glass, china, any non-porus surface and there is no chalk dust!  Clean up with a
damp cloth or  the clean up marker to make it even easier!   They are in Tricia's Ribbons
at $6.95 each and so worth it!

A friend taught me a new way to use Distress Stamp Pads and masking tape. 

 Very fun!  The pictures don't show how nice the glossy card stock really looks.

 But so many people have asked for a note card for a guy...well this blank note cards 

fit the bill.  Easily a simple note for anyoneThey will be are in the shop at $3.50 each. 

I now have these great metal pieces (sold individually) in the store.  They can be tinted using 

Adirondack Alcohol  Inks (check out Timholtz.com for instructions) for an aged look or used just

as they are for your altered art or jewelry.  I have more unique and one of a kind vintage 

pieces and other new metal pieces as well.

                                My newest  ribbons just arrived.  I couldn't wait to show them!

Autumn is here!

We are getting ready for fall and Judy's started by rearranging the entire store for a new look.
She has added new pillows, lampshades (with even more coming soon for smaller lamps) and more
antiques finds.  I will be trying to take more pictures as the new items come in.

Organized at last!

I finally brought in a vintage wire rack to hold all of my tags, cards,

 notebooks and tablets.  Great to have them all in one spot! 

 What took me so long?

Friendship Farm Antiques

Judy is always addition more antique items, as well as, new pillows and

lampshades.

After being inspired by the fabulous shadow boxes made by Connie Fong.

 artfulplay.blogspot.com and her sister, Diana, I got going on my own

shadow box.   I don't own enough of the wonderful Washi Tape to

be as creative, but,  I still had fun with mine.  Now I have to decide what

trinkets to put inside.

I used a translucent paint with shimmer in "old gold" to paint the box and only put the 

Washi Tape on the dividers.  I  actually made two boxes, one to take into the store for sale

and one to keep.

I also made some new tags after finding these great old postcards.

My new goal is to show what's new in the shop at least once a week so:

This is a great old "Vowel Dominoes" set.

The box is original and complete.

They are thick cardboard and could be a wonderful

addition to an altered art project.

The two old bottles can give you a jump start on your 

Halloween project!

More new tags

I haven't had much time to work on tags but I did get these two

in the shop along with some more seam bindings 

and new silk ribbons.

She is actually a frame.  Her picture can be taken out

so you can put  in one of you own

and  the "hey girl friend" flag is removable 

also.

New Items in the Shop.

Judy has brought in some new items that are so cute!  

This is a wonderful display box w/glass  hinged lid.

This trivet is porcelain set in a wicker frame...just beautiful!

This sampler is dated 1898 and is in mint condition!

Yes, more Majolica that is her passion.  These asparagus plates

are about 100 years old and are perfect.
