Wondering thru my IPhoto library

I have posted this picture before because I keep thinking I'll change this little vignette
but I just love these little glass boxes so I think it will stay this way a while longer.

FINDINGS of Carmel

I made some more tags (actually a bakers dozen) to send down to FINDINGS
of Carmel.  If you haven't visited Nancy's shop it is a must see when
visiting Carmel-by-the-sea.  She is tucked away in the courtyard next to the Mediterranean
Market on San Carlos St.  Unfortunately she doesn't have a website but in August
I'll be there to take some pictures of her cute little shop to post.  She
is a seamstress at heart and sells wonderful fabric, ribbons and a unique array of buttons.
She hunts for the unusual small antiques, as well as, the hand made one of a kind
items from local (and not so local) artists.
Here's a sample:

Happy 4th to Everyone!

After a few days of having an energy zapping flu bug,
that was so bad I missed the Alameda Antique Faire which never happens,  I am back in my studio and ready to play.
I made some small tags out of  old wallpaper and decided to glue it to card stock so you can write on
the back side.  Pretty cute.

These old gummed letters and figures are cute but it is
the envelope that makes a great addition to an altered
art project.

Connie at Artful Play has used one in her wonderful portfolio:

These are pouches (actually English tea bags, the kind you fill yourself) that I stamped and filled
with the best home grown lavender.  Not from my yard but from for dear friend Judy's  garden
in Lafayette.  Cute as a gift tag.
